Is there a way to make an app that works with PowerChart? And if so how would it work? Would a person open up PowerChart and then click on a button to access our app or would our app have to be a separate app on a persons phone?
Thanks

Hi, Brandon!
Using SMART [1] and FHIR [2] technologies you can effectively accomplish both scenarios you described. SMART allows for an external web app to be plugged into PowerChart. The app inside PoweChart behaves as a native module, it is access through table of contents, it can run at the chart or organizer level, there is no second login needed as user & patient context get exchanged during app launch. You an accomplish standalone launch as well for both a web app and a native app on a mobile device. Check out documentation available at the links below, register an application using Code Portal available in the upper right corner of the website and have fun!
