Hi,

I'm trying to style the report that is being generated based on the xhtml i'm sending.

Could you share what the processing rules are?
I already discovered that
  • tables are support
  • <label> is not
  • <style> in header is completely ignored
  • inline style attributes however do work
Is there a more extensive specification we could use as a reference?
That way we don't have to reverse engineer this. Would save us some time.

Thank you!

Btw, our system has a service that generates PDFs with full CSS support.
Is it on the roadmap to support "contentType: application/pdf"  we can just push our own beautifully styled PDF instead?

Greetings,
Kristof.

Hi Kristof,

Most of the processing and which tags etc get stripped is described on the fhir doc here: https://fhir.cerner.com/millennium/dstu2/infrastructure/document-reference/#body-fields

The formatting issues and validation is mentioned in content.attachment.data documentation. It also references some validators.

Regards,
Jenni
