There are two breaking changes for DocumentReference which will be deployed to production on 15-Dec-2022

1. When you search by DocumentReference.type using a Cerner Millennium proprietary event code, the DocumentReference resource may no longer return results for radiology documents because the RADRPT event code is no longer used for DocumentReference.type. Instead, use the specific event code associated with the radiology exam to search by DocumentReference.type. For example, CT Thorax with and without contrast.

Implementation Impact: Search for radiology documents by the event code associated with the radiology exam.

2. When an attachment is not present for the DocumentReference.content.attachment field, the data absent reason (DAR) extension is now returned in the DocumentReference.content.attachment.url. Previously, the DAR extension was returned in the DocumentReference.content.attachment.extension.

Implementation Impact: Direct your application to the DocumentReference.content.attachment.url to view the DAR when no attachment is present for DocumentReference.content.attachment.
