Search by SSN last 4 digits

Hi Team, 

Can you confirm if searching patients by SSN with only last 4 digits is supported?  This is regarding FHIR Search patient API. 

I've tried to search with only last 4 digits against the sandbox and it does not bring the record back. But I wonder if this is a setting on Cerner side that is configurable for every client.

Hi Rui,

Unfortunately no, you cannot search by only the last 4 digits of a SSN, you would need to provide the whole SSN.
