S14 message (SIU) - not fire when an encounter gets created/deleted

Hi,

I am new to this, sorry if this not the right place to ask this question (HL7 related).

With the HL7 message, The SIU messages are appointment related messages.  One of them was an appointment change event.  This is the S14 message.  That one does not fire when an encounter gets created/deleted and linked to an appointment.  We were under the impression we will get an S14 message.

 

Maybe the ADT messages (some of them) can be used to get encounter creation and deletion messages?

 

If that is the case, then Banner needs to get these messages into the Service Bus where we receive the other HL7 messages.

Please throw some light on this, all we need is a notification/trigger when encounter gets created/deleted. How to get consume those details?
