Searching Observations by multiple Categories

Hi

It seems that even though Observations are searchable by multiple LOINC codes, there is no way to search Observation by multiple Categories, right? If true, then is it fair to assume we have to make multiple Observation resource calls to fetch different categories (vital-signs, exam, therapy, social-history etc https://www.hl7.org/fhir/DSTU2/valueset-observation-category.html ) or is there a better way? 

Are there any plans to support searching observations by multiple categories?

Hi Daya,

You can search by multiple categories by using comma separation. eg: Observation?patient=123&category=laboratory,social-history
