Hello.  Looking to incorporate Meducation API into a mobile app that creates a Universal Medication Schedule for patients.  Want to understand if the API includes 'time of day' information such that once patient enters prescription (typically described as 1x per day) the API will determine morning, noon, etc.  If not, does anyone know where that info comes from ?  Thanks.  Eric

Hi Eric,

Did you mean medication instead of Meducation?

If so, what we expose is documented here:

or

(differences between the medication resources is described here: http://fhir.cerner.com/millennium/dstu2/medications/)

We do not currently expose the predicted time, unless that is part of the actual coded frequency (Timing.code). Normally, you'll just see something like BID unless the practitioner actually chose a code specific to time of day (eg: AM or PM in the preferred FHIR value set)

More often, prescribers may include guidance that in the instructions to the patient, which are not codified.
