App versioning - upgrade from DSTU2 to R4

Hello,

What's the recommended way for upgrading from DSTU2 to R4, do we create a new application for R4 (to avoid breaking clients with existing DSTU2 version) or does Cerner have a concept of app versioning where same production app can have multiple versions each one supports different configurations (e.g., DSTU2 vs R4)?

We are aware that this would require re-validation.
