Do apps registered through code.cerner.com work the same for Cerner-hosted clients and for clients that host their own data centers? Please let me know if there are any pitfalls I should be aware of when developing my app.

Hello Rob,
App registration is not related to where the app gets hosted. So your app should work same for Cerner hosted and/or remote hosted.
