Hello,
I realize this question has been asked before, but I'm hoping there have been new developments on what's possible.
We have a Provider web app that exists outside of the EHR. Providers access this app using shared devices in clinics (e.g. iPads).
Since we have multiple users logging into a single device, how can we log the provider out (i.e. completely kill their session) when they log out of the application?
Currently it "remembers" the identity of who logged in first and bypasses the Cerner authentication screen on subsequent log ins.
Thanks,
Dan
PS: I read about “Manage Authorized Applications” but that appears to only pertain to Patient apps. The "manage" URI is not part of the conformance statement.
