Is the FHIR API available in Australia?

Cheers,

Hey Juan

Currently we have Austin Health in Victoria that has FHIR APIs available. We do have other Hospitals that are either signed to deploy or are in the process of signing. Right now though, we still ask everyone to use the Cerner standard sandbox as there is not a local Australia Sandbox.

For local contacts, you can reach out to myself or Kishan Sarook on the following details if you want more information on timelines for future FHIR rollout in Australia as well as the Cerner Code Program.

Thanks for the quick response.  When you say that other Hospitals are either signed to deploy or are in the process of signing, does that mean that if we plan to develop a SMART App with a hospital in New South Wales, all that would be needed is the one-time setup fee (plus the other fees, https://www.cerner.com/certified-health-it)? Or is the understanding that deployment would take a lot longer than that?

I tried to use the emails provided, but the emails remained masked even after doing the captcha.

Cheers,
Juan

I am involved more on the app validation and FHIR deployment side rather than the contract and fees side. Its strange the captcha does not work for you. The email address is Kishan.Sarook then add cerner.com as the @ bit so hopefully that appears for you. He will be able to help you out with the fees side.

From my limited knowledge of fees, I think its a fee per domain deployed so if you were to deploy in a NSW domain then go deploy to Austin that would be 2 sets of fees as opposed to just one fee.
