I am currently planning a several month visit to the Spanish capital early
2001 and as a non-native I am definately in need of good tips on how to
survive there. Does anybody know people taking on foreigners as labour? Any
advice about Madrid are very welcome, and the more concrete the better!

1) Buy a season pass to the Prado.
2) Move in.
3) Have people smuggle in "helados".
You will need nothing else !
