Hey there Cerego team, here is my input from using the software, including a range of design issues, bugs, feature requests. The ability to group items, or adjust when a certain item will be shown/taught, or the ability to add items anywhere in the timeline(useful for editing content at a later date where one item may be required as an introductory concept to the other items you have)
Some kind of feedback/analytics as to how many people are studying your course, how many items and memories they have they learned, what stage are they at(general things that I would consider to be implemented in the free version because without these features then content creators will not be able to tweak the course make parts easier/harder for the user, among other reasons that could be used to promote the quality of the course)
The ability to do multiple associations for a single item in the quick add.
Streamlined version of Cerego's Content Creation Guidelines that offers more info then the example but less than what is in the document, or perhaps a different way of accessing the document because the single column of text with images displayed in a off-putting way.
A better image shrinking implementation that preserves the quality of the image for non square image shapes(ex. rectangles).
A greater diversity of categories, and a new way to visualize them other than drop down lists.
Some kind of metric displaying the x axis on the view Cartesian plane, and an indication of you average rate of speed along it
The ability to change your profile page cover photo.
A repositioning of the circle within a circle button that overlays(top left corner) the image of the course, which opens up the actual details to the course. Thus the details button should be the orange Learn button for immediate action ability for the user, and the more button should be the details button but with the circle within a circles functionality to actually show you the details of the course. The more button could be placed in the top right, allowing the Featured set to be the first thing at the top left of the course, or the more button should be contained within the course learn screen itself.Change the Learn button to say Learning when you have subscribed to the course, perhaps a colour change as well.
Move the "See the question" button to the bottom right because the 'got it' and 'don't know' button are hidden, so the user does not have to move the mouse back and forth from left to right to center screen if they choose to interact with the mouse.
*Found the settings tab after writing this point* "See the question is unreachable with the keyboard", so is the learn tab/sentence tab in the top right.
The Circle within a circle (set), and the grid of circles(series) which indicates a set/or series of courses is not obvious right away. Perhaps use the same shape of the square to relate it to the course frame.Do not scroll the subjects and filters when browsing the courses.Auto search which shows a list of courses that match what you have typed into the search bar would enable quick access and a stream lined search experience.Connect with Google+Have profile bios, it is nice to get to know and connect with the course creator.Extremely long course names and description are not formatted correctly in the edit details screen. And when you open the extra details in the course browser.Bug: Item Style Vocabulary: allows to you to go over the bounds of the type the word format question _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _thus if t he last word is required as 5 letters, then the current implementation allows you to enter 6 and each letter input thereafter will push the character inputted from the 6th spot to the 5th
I have yet to test out how adding collaborators work with email, but public suggestions of items along with spelling fixes would be nice, such that the creator allow or disallow the change.
