Upper and Lower Plates Do Not Align with Rails

The notches on the upper and lower plates do not align with the slots on the rails. If I line up two sides, the third does not align. Either the rails need to be shorter or the plates need to be larger.

You should first loosen the nut on the beam and do not lock the beam to the column. At this point you need to fix the upper and lower bottom plates to the beam and then lock the beam to the column.

I'm sorry but I don't see how that will solve the issue. The triangle that the slots of rails form is larger than the triangle that the notches in the plates form. Either the rails need to be shorter or the plates need to be larger.

Do not fix the column first, first install the beam to the aluminum plate.

I disconnected two of the posts from the rails. I attached the top plate to the rails. I am unable to reattach the posts.

Or, like I did, you can file the edges of the slots down... It seems to be fine.  It also seems we're the Beta testers fr the assembly instructions....

I have the same problem
The plate or the posts are incorrectly cut!!
