Cerambit Air - Loose threads on Cap

Is anyone else having problems with the screw cap for Cerambot Air? The cap is a very loose fit on the tube, and when air pressure is applied the cap blows off. I'm not even getting to 0.1 MPa before this happens.

I've seen the suggestion to add thread tape to help with air leaks, but in this case I think the problem is not enough thread engagement to hold the pieces together under pressure. The seal isn't too bad before the connection fails and all pressure is lost.

i've the same problem. air leaks.

then the cap literally exploded under pressure around 0.2 MPa

i'll try tomorrow add more water to the clay and maybe gaffa tape to fix the cap.

i'm wondering if this is better...

Has anybody tried this? I lost the o-ring out of my cartridge cap last weekend.

i replaced it by a ring from a waterpipe install kit.

and a lot of iso-tape around and beneath the cap..! ;)

Support wasn't much help.  I think there was confusion on what o-ring I was interested in, I replied with a picture and never got a response.  Through trial and error I have settled on 55mm outer diameter x 2 mm thickness o-rings for the cap, but the treads are still too loose to make it past 0.3 MPa.  I am still not able to print successfully.
