I have assemble the machine, connected all electronics and flashed the firmware.
When i start the machine and try to auto home. only the x and y motors are running.

I have switched

- the motors
- the driverboard
- the wiring for motor and end switch

and i can say that they all work independently. (If i use the z motor in another place its working).

So, i am stuck. Please advise how to solve the problem. I can attach pictures if you request them.

Thanks.

The motor wiring harness is not in good contact, please check it carefully.

Ok, still no luck. The wiring of the motor is ok. As mentioned i have swapped cables, driver board and motors to no avail.

Please advise. Maybe send a detail picture of the wiring of end switch and motor cable into the moard.

What version of the firmware are you using?  If you are using cerambots firmware I would recommend going to the facebook group and downloading the version that is there.  You mentioned that you swapper the cables, but have you tried replacing them with new ones?  On mine two of the motor cables were bad and one of the end stop switch wires was bad and two of the endstop switches were bad.

So only 2 of the 3 towers motors are working...
you know the motor is good as you have swapped it into another spot...
you have swapped out the A4988 driver board and the motoro wire, with no change?
what about the RAMPS board? have you swapped that out? Id guess a bad ramps board...
also check the fb forum, there are instructions to use gcode to check the status of the endstops, maybe the zendstop thinks its tripped?

Yes, switched cables, drivers, motors etc. everything works on a different place. But the GCode options sounds interesting, if its possible to check Endstop status. Sounds like a reasonable error, will try to check that.

i will try that, thanks. I think i have the orignal version (1.1.9 i guess) from Cerambot. Maybe it helps to upgrade to v2?

Download the one from the facebook group, several people have tried it and used it and it's worked well for them.
