No movement, no auto home on menu?

I just finished assembling the cerambot and I'm stuck, I'm getting no movement from xyz and the odd thing is there is no auto home or jog in the menus of the printer... any ideas guys?

the second line on the screen is garbled too...

I first tried using the 1.5.5 ide like the direction say but I just got an error and it would not up load, i used the 1.8 and it did take but I don't know if that is a factor....

Sounds like you don't have to correct configuration files...
Are you doing the original Cermabot software? IE: Marlin 1 or 2?

I suggest downloading Marlin 2, then grab the marlin 2 zipped confiuration package from the facebook Cerambot Group files area...
get Platform,io and set it up... once you push that complete firmware you should be good on the next boot.
