gallery with pagination

Does anyone have an idea for handling galleries with pagination?

For example let's say you have got 30 items, 10 item per page, and the well known link-bar "last 1 2 3 next" or similar.
In cerabox you only can use item 1 to 10, then close it, use the link to page #2, open cerabox again... this is not optimal...

Is it somehow possible to add a link after the 10th item, which will automatically close cerabox an follow the "next" link, eventually even using a parameter to automatically having opened cerabox again?
Maybe this ist to complicated, are there any ideas?

Why not load the full data set in a hidden div and use this for the gallery index ?

This is a possible solution, but not a perfect one.

1st problem: avoid duplicates an preserve the correct order. On gallery-page #1 you have to add item 11-30 in a hidden div, on page #2 a hidden div before with 1-10, then the visible items, then a hidden div with 21-30, and so on....

2nd problem: if the visitor uses the "next" button up to lets say item 11, then closes the cerabox, he is on the "wrong" galley page #1 (1-10)
