Does New Relic Instrumentation still work?  We aren't seeing any events.  Is there some config step I'm missing?

If you're using it with Rails, it should automatically load the NewRelic instrumentation in the Railtie… what happens if you manually require 'cequel/metal/new_relic_instrumentation' ?

Yes, we're on Rails.  And I verified that the Railtie loads.  But we don't get any NewRelic events from Cequel activity.  In our models, I can add_method_tracer to the save method, and then we see the events.  Which execute method is supposed to be getting registered with a tracer when the Railtie loads?  There are several in Cequel.

Not seeing any events either. I have require 'cequel/metal/new_relic_instrumentation'

Clark, what did you add to your models to see events?

I think the latest release has the fix.  My colleague, Jeff Holland, submitted the PR shortly after we reported this.
