Lightweight transactions

Does (or is it planned to at some point) Cequel support the "IF NOT EXISTS USING option AND option" on INSERT/UPDATE?

AKA "lightweight transactions".

The use-case is that we need to know (transactionally safe) if the record being created is new or not at the time of insert/upsert.

Hi Greg,

It's definitely planned. The 1.x series only supports features available in Cassandra 1.2, but Cequel 2.0 will fully support lightweight transactions and other CQL3.1 features.
