Subject: Summary for today's discussion

Hi all,

How is everyone doing? Hope we are all doing well and the quarter is quickly ending!

We had a meeting today and just to update those who could not make it today, here are the key points we have discussed. And of course, welcome our new members into the group!

1) General:

— Team responsibilities

In the future, most of speaker events will be taken on an individual basis: one person should be responsible for a single event (from inviting the speaker, sending out the event email, booking the venue and reminding the marketing person to update the website). This would reduce the communication cost and each person theoretically should take the lead in 1-3 events per quarter to take full advantage of what CEO could offer,i.e. a closer interaction with the speaker.

— Transfer of weekly newsletter and CEO finances from Rena to Huang Hai/Yin Le/Xueqian.

2) Marketing:

— shifting focus to wechat. First of all, let us try forwarding the messages of our next event on wechat? Thanks Ryan and Yin Le and everyone else for forwarding our CEO messages during 56.com talk last week.

— will try to get back the account info of the Facebook and Weibo.

3) Event:

— Will try to explore other venues from the next event onwards

— On the event form, have one check-box of “do you want to become CEO member?”. Each PM should collate this information and add the new members to the Google-Announce group. (You can send this to me)

— Try to keep the speakers’ information. And at the end of the event, compile them and send to Huang Hai to enter into the database.

Please remind me if I left anything out and please do read through as it has become increasingly difficult for everyone to attend meetings at the same time. We will try to see whether there will be a common time good for meetings next quarter. Before that, wish everyone a fruitful quarter and hope to see you all on campus soon.
