One-Week Immersion Course on "Field Methods for Speech Technologies (Dravidian)" @Nilgiris

We are thrilled to announce that the Council for Diversity and Innovation, in collaboration with Keystone Foundation and UnReaL-TecE LLP, is offering an Intensive 2 Credits Immersion Course on Field Methods for Speech Technologies (Dravidian) from June 23 - 28, 2025 at Keystone Foundation, Kotagiri, Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu as part of the flagship Words, Worlds and Models (W2M) program. 

The course is optimised for professionals and researchers working on / planning to work on language data collection and processing for training AI models. The focus language for the course is Irula, a South Dravidian language spoken by the Irula community.
