Has anyone used the feature to insert URL? If so what does it mean if
you check the Use System Browser in the properties and also what
exactly does "Available Out of Session" mean?

Has anyone ever used the Insert AppShare and/or Web Safari in an
agenada? Is there really any difference in using one over the other?

I have never used these but would like to know if there is any
advantage or disadvantage to them.

You can e-mail me direct at anna.p...@bp.com if you have comments
regarding this.

Thank you.

Good afternoon,

I'm an account rep with Saba that's been with Centra since 2002 --I
should be running errands, but with the snow/slush outside..I'd much
rather stay in today :) Below are the answers to the questions:

Insert URL - In session: The website (or content you're linking to
outside the session) will display within the content window in
Centra. By clicking "use system browser" it will launch the link a
separate instance of IE (or Firefox, etc...whatever browser they are
using) for all participants.

Available out of session - When a participant logs into an event
before the leader arrives, they are in "pre-session". They can click
around the slides etc,.. Certain things, you may want to disable in
presession. An example would be a test, so that participants cannot
see it until the leader arrives. When the leader does arrive, he/she
puts them "in session" and everyone is forced to be on the same page...
literally.

Insert Appshare/WebSafari: These are good when creating a structured
online course so the instructor can create placeholders in their
training program. Appshare will prompt the instructor with a list of
all open applications that are available to share. Web Safari will
automatically launch a web browser and share it...essentially saving a
click.

Thanks!!

John
