My name is David Flanagan and I'm a Technology Based Learning Manager
with KPMG. I've been involved the creation of course content for
delivery using the Centra client for years now and I've had the
opportunity to moderate and lead more sessions that I can remember.
In October, during the 'People 2008' summit, I'll be leading a session
called "Centra in The 21st Century," which will focus on ways to
maximize the learning experience in Centra using tools such as
Captivate, Camtasia, Flash, etc. The idea for this session came from
some of the posts observed in this group, which have asked for tips
and tricks on ways to enhance Centra sessions, ways to integrate
multimedia, and a better understanding of best practices.
In order to focus my presentation as closely as possible to the needs
of users, I am asking if you could submit feedback to me. Here is the
question I'm hoping you'll answer for me:
If you were to attend this session, what are the TOP 3 things you
would seek to learn?
I have many thoughts and ideas of my own, but I would very much like
to hear what YOU think would be valuable. Based on your feedback,
I'll firm up my agenda for the session and I'll post a general
overview here for those who are interested.
I've already heard from one person who mentioned that it would be
interesting to learn about "gaming for learning" within the Centra
environment. Does that interest anyone? What else interests you?
I look forward to reading your replies.
Regards,
David
