Oct 20 SIG Meeting and Call for Leadership

Greetings! The Centra Special Interest Group (Centra SIG) will
conduct a session at the Saba People 2008 Conference on Monday,
October 20, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill in
Washington, D.C. This session will include a Centra SIG Year in
Review, and will include the election of new SIG Leadership. **NOTE:
The 2009 SIG can easily be structured to be led equally by a group of
Board Members - please reply with your interest!

The Centra Special Interest Group (Centra SIG) is a self-guided group
consisting of Centra customers. Its mission and purpose is to provide
guidance to Saba on Centra Product Development and Enhancements from
customer experience and knowledge of its usage. The SIG is designed
for networking among users, sharing best practices, and having
proactive communications. It is operated by the Centra community with
a liaison to Saba, Bettina Nick, to assist with any special needs
(e.g. speakers, product info). It has been managed by a President, and
the President nominated her steering committee composed of Centra
users. To continue its great work, the 2009 SIG can easily be
structured to be led equally by a group of Board Members.

Saba is very interested in continuing its partnership with the Centra
SIG to help Saba understand innovative, forward-thinking user
requirements for Centra and what the product must do to help
organizations be more successful. The SIG wants to continue to build
up this community and raise collective awareness about Centra across
company collaboration. The SIG desires to gather both existing and
new members together, where networking and sharing of ideas and
knowledge to accelerate the uses of Centra can occur.

interest are welcome. Email your resume by Friday, October 3, 2008 to
nicolecs...@gmail.com. You'll be asked to introduce yourself to
the Centra SIG at the session. Please forward this email to all those
whom you know will be attending the Conference.

Thank you very much for your participation, volunteerism and input
over the last two years! It has been a terrific experience for me to
lead the Centra SIG. Thank you also to the Board members who have
been a great support to me, too.
