Young Adults 34th Street Lights Open House - Saturday, December 20th
Have you heard of the 34th Street Lights in Hampden? It's a must-see Baltimore tradition with wildly decorated homes and if you have checked it out before, then you'll want to see it again! On Saturday, December 20th between 6:30 and 10, Heather Ziegler will host an Open House at her home on 820 W. 32nd Street, 443-756-5576. Go through the lights on your own, but please stop by Heather's house for warm drinks, cookies and fellowship!
Here are some updated directions from Heather to help you avoid some annoying congestion that can happen around Hampden during the Christmas season...
If you're coming from downtown or from 83, take the 28th Street Exit
At the first light (Sisson Street), make a left
Continue Straight through the next two lights (at 29th street and Wyman Park Drive). The road curves slightly to the right and becomes Keswick.
At the next light (33rd Street), make a left. (There is a 7-11 on the corner)
Go straight through the stop sign at Chestnut
Make your next available left at Elm Street
Turn left on my street (32nd Street). My house is a little more than halfway down the block.
If you're coming from Towson/ Church:
Take Roland Avenue (or get to Roland by 40th Street. Taking Falls Road or Keswick proves to be annoying as you get close to Hampden and the lights)
Continue on Roland past the Avenue (36th Street). Just after the post office (which is on 34th street), there is a Y in the road where it curves down and to the right or goes up on a hill to the left. Go to the left, which is Falls Cliff Road
Make a left onto 32nd Street. My house is on the next block.

New Years Eve Party - Wednesday, December 31st at 8pm
Steve and Bethany Schwendy will host the Young Adults ministry New Years Eve party at their home on 306 Weatherbee Rd, 21286. Join us as we ring in 2009 with friends and food!
MEN’S Kickoff and Cookoff January 10th 10:30am – 2pm
The Men’s ministry is inviting all young adult guys to join for football and chili. Meet at the church at 10:30 and football will be played from 11 to 1ish.
