I have not been active with BD for some time now. I may get back into
it considering the price of fuel recently. I may be able to help out
others here because I have made a few batches in my garage. It would
be good to start a co-op in the area. I may get back in to brewing if
we could share some of the labor and costs. My 35 gallon processor
was quite a bit of work to make a relatively small batch. I still
have a couple hundred gallons of WVO and KOH that I should use up.
Also, one of the local restaurants, that has the best WVO in town,
needs someone to take up the collecting I was doing.

I'll double check with them today to see that they didn't toss the 55 gallon drum. I said I would pick it up last weekend but didn't have time to get it.

I tried to e-mail you directly, my e-mail said it bounced but you may
have gotten it, please let me know about the oil and the width of the
tow dolly...I may be coming by your way either Friday night or
Saturday morning on my way to Charlottesville, so I can swing by,
probably best on the way back....

I should be available this weekend to help you load the barrel. I could also talk to the owner of the restaurant to see if you could take over the collection. As far as I know, these small restaurants cannot get rendering companies to pick up their oil. I don't think there are any other BD hobbyist collecting in this town. The restaurant with the full barrel is a few blocks from my house.

If you wanted to use the car dolly to move the barrel, that would probably be OK. As long as the truck has factory tires, It should fit on the dolly with no problem. I would need the dolly back within a week so I can move a junk vehicle from my driveway.

Give me a call if you think you'll be passing through. I am at the north end of West Point, just off SR 30.
