Join us for the EcoRise: Environmental Justice & Sustainable Transportation Workshop at Austin Energy on December 2nd: 9am-1pm

This unique workshop will take place at the Austin Energy Headquarters in the Mueller development and will provide teachers with a range of opportunities and experiences to explore environmental justice (EJ) topics through the lens of access to sustainable transportation.

This engaging and interactive workshop will include:

exploration of our local EJ context and the transportation landscape of Austin.
activities to build your students' understanding of these topics to help them build context and knowledge to create sustainable, just solutions in their community.
access to EcoRise's Intro to Environmental Justice Lessons and our new Sustainable Transportation Lessons.
a mini-field experience at Austin Energy that includes a VR experience.

*Participants will receive breakfast snacks, lunch, swag, and a $100 gift card for supplies needed to teach this content in your classroom. CPE and GT credits are available. Priority registration for teachers at Title 1 schools as space is limited.
