Hello! We are hiring for a new position of Education Specialist for both our Farm to School and farmers market education program. We’re open to hiring 2 PT or 1 FT person; both remote, but at least one needs to be able to come to Elgin each week once the worst of COVID has passed. All hires must live in Texas.
Please share with your Farm to School and farmer education folks. We’re a small organization and we have a high bar for this hire.. so bring your best.
We’re building an online education system for direct market producers and farmers market managers plus we’re amping up our Farm to School and after school programs for K-12. This system will be a game changer for farm and food education and discovery in Texas. We need a real go getter who is a kick ass curriculum/lesson developer and who already has the basics of understanding of racism in the food system…. and who is the perfectly compassionate active listener who can synthesize what they hear into a delightful educational experience.
