Just wanted to let you know that unfortunately I have to be out of town this weekend for work, so I won't be at the Studio.  Lynn will be there to work with everyone on their presentations.  One of the things that we'll figure out is a time in October to get everyone together to bring closure to this segment of the studio and discuss next steps.  There are many ways we might continue our work together, and we'll explore what will work best.

 

Please do get in touch if you want to discuss projects, etc.  The ideas and projects you are creating are amazing and wonderful, and I look forward to seeing where they will go.  The best way to reach me by phone is on my cell, 468-7246.

the current hurricane models more or less show Austin getting nailed on Sat. I
know I won't be driving around town in a tropical storm. I would strongly urge
that we make plans to postpone this last meeting before Sat. morning.

We can wait until Friday, but I think most Sat. events are going to be
cancelled/postponed before then. The current track is available at

Hi everyone. Let's go ahead and reschedule this Saturday's Community
Studio session. The Hands On staff are being called to help with 211
Disaster Response and we might also be called to help with the City &
Red Cross shelters. We'll follow up after next week.

I agree with the general trend of the conversation thus far that we should postpone, especially because it looks like Mando won't be able to be there anyway given United Way's role in preparation and response. What dates in October look good for folks?
