The Power of the Social Entrepreneur, program & panel at Yarborough, 10/15, 6PM
A FRONTLINE/World & American Library Association funded program, "The Power of the Social Entrepreneur" will be presented at the Yarborough Branch Library on Wednesday, October 15th at 6pm. Film clips from a Frontline series on worldwide social entrepreneurial activities will be shown and reacted to by a panel of local public innovators, including Carissa Vermillion of PBS&J, Martin Montero of Mobile Loaves & Fishes micro-enterprise project, Michelle Zadrozny of Nets to Ladders, Inc., and Heather Alden of UT's RGK Center, moderated by Professor Tommy Darwin of UT. Co-sponsored by the United Way Capital Area and KLRU.

A follow-up session on the evening of October 23rd at the United Way of Capital Area will focus on "Developing An Action Plan" for those who are involved in or are curious to be involved in a social entrepreneurial or public innovation activity.
