Some dooooope fares to Oslo, including some late summer availability! If you go in the fall or winter, Norway (especially if you fly up to Tromso) is one of the best places to catch the northern lights :-)

Pro-tip: take the train from Oslo out to the coastal city Bergen (pictured below). It's under $50 and one of the prettiest train rides in the world.

Remember: if you don't read the How To Book section of this email (or any other email!), you're gonna have a bad time.

Be aware that bags and whatnot cost extra on Norwegian flights (assuming you don't pack super light). Here's a link to their slightly convoluted baggage fee chart. If you want to just check a bag, it's ~$45 each way. Alternatively, it'll cost you $60 each way to check a bag, choose your own seat, and get their "Nice & Tasty menu". If you want this, book the "LowFare+" option.

All prices are for roundtrip flights and in USD unless otherwise stated.

TO:

Oslo (OSL)

FROM:

Boston (BOS) - $243
Ft. Lauderdale (FLL) - $324
Los Angeles (LAX) - $278
New York City (JFK) - $278
Oakland (OAK) - $278
Orlando (MCO) - $301

WHEN: Varies a bit by origin airport, but in general there's cheap availability March through May and late August through January, including some Thanksgiving, Xmas, and NYE!

NORMAL PRICE: $750+ for nonstop flights

AIRLINE: Norwegian

BUY BY: I suspect these fares will last a few days at least

HOW TO BOOK

Reminder: Scott's Cheap Flights does not receive referral fees from Google Flights, Momondo, or any other booking sites. Our only incentive is to find you a good deal :-)

A bit more complicated, but you can do this!

These fares are showing up on Google Flights for an extra $42, or on Norwegian's US-site for an extra $92. But we're not about paying extra money for the same ticket here.

Instead, to get
the best prices, you have to search and book through Norwegian Airlines' Norwegian-language site. (Pro-tip for non-Norwegian speakers: use Google Chrome, right-click anywhere on the page, and click "Translate to English".) To easily find the cheapest flight dates, search their flex-month fare calendar (aka "Vis Lavpriskalender").

If you can't make heads or tails of the Norwegian-language site, try their Irish site instead. Winds up about $20 more expensive.

Right now $1 = 8.62 Norwegian krone, so the 2398 krone fare = $278.
Either pay with a credit card that has no foreign conversion fees, or suck it up and pay the ~3% foreign conversion fee, bringing your fare to $286.

If you end up booking this deal, hit reply and let me know!

Love,
