Laser cutting

Greetings,

I am doing a project and would like to try cutting some veneer with a laser. I was wondering if anyone in the group has a laser that they are very familiar with and can cut a standard wood veneer. Most are under 1/16 thick. I am aware that the DIY Cave has a laser so that recommendation is not needed. I would be more interested in working with someone in the group that has the programming knowledge to help with the pattern development as well. I am willing to pay for your assistance or possibly barter something I may have or can make for the person.
