Hi Folks,

Preppin' Weapons: I know I have mentioned them in the past, but I'll reiterate my preference for them. They take a 1/4 sheet of standard 9 x 11 sandpaper. The only unusable part of the sheet is the small part under the clips. They came from the auto body world and are made to last. They are also very comfortable in your hand. You can put up to 6 pieces of paper on one and tear the sheets off as needed. I usually put the 4 pieces that come from a sheet of sandpaper.

The bottom has a layer of fairly hard rubber on it. Deflects just enough to follow shallow contours on a wide surface. My two newest ones are the yellow and green. Now I will have 100, 150, 220, and 320 grit paper at my fingertips - less changing (this from the person who has been thrifting his shop - go figure🤪).

My only question now is will I follow color theory to decide the progression of grits or some other method..............decisions, decisions.

Dennis
I'll bring them to the SAW/COW meeting on the 11th.

Hi Folks,

For what it's worth I followed the color spectrum of visible light, so red (the highest frequency) gets the highest grit (320), followed by yellow (220), followed by green (150), and finally purple (100).
