Hi Folks,

If any of you come across a Stanley No. 3 or No. 4 plane for sale please let me know. I would like to examine one before I purchase it.

If you recall I recently put together a No. 3 from a body and other parts I had. I discovered during the lapping of the bottom that there are two very small cracks near the mouth. I would not have found them except the iron being lapped stuck at the cracks. Not a happy camper.
