Stanley No. 65 Block Plane for Sale

Hi Folks,

Still trying to get rid of my Stanley No. 65 block plane. You can buy it in one of two configurations.

1. Block plane with original blade -- $30

2. Block plane with Veritas powdered metal blade -- $65.

If you look at the picture you can see that healthy machined area in the bed of the plane - three times the size of the machined area of the venerable 60 1/2. The 65 has a blade that is 1 5/8" wide as compared to 1 3/8" for the 60 1/2.

Why am I selling it? I'm using one of my Japanese style planes for my block plane and it is working very well for me.

There may be more in the near future. After spending the last week cleaning out my parents' house I realize I have too much stuff.
