CO Woodworkers Meeting 14 Oct. 6-8 PM

Fellow Woodworkers,

   This month we are going to try several new things.  Our first meeting in the south county area and a meeting that includes dinner (hotdogs and burgers).  Thus the 6-8 PM time. Workers can make it because dinner is covered.

   Cathy Jordan Davenport will be our host.  Cathy formerly ran a framing shop and will demonstrate the use of a framing vise.  She currently makes boxes which she sells at the Red Chair Gallery in Bend. She has developed glue up techniques for making saleable items without big equipment in her detached 2 car garage.

   Cathy's address is 15242 N Ponderosa Way, La Pine.

 GPS is not always accurate out there. So some brief directions:

97 south to Burgess Rd. Right after the RR tracks

At the 5 mile marker left on Ponderosa Way

Watch for a bank of mailboxes - Left on Ponderosa Loop

1 mile on Right 

Cathy's husband is manning the grill!  So I would like a headcount if you are coming. If you have a preference for hamburger or hotdog, that would be  helpful too.

This is a great opportunity for us to gather in a slightly different location and format.  It should be a lot of fun.  Usual intros and show and tell items are encouraged. So get your carpool together and come on down!
