I started this project before I moved to Redmond. I just now got a chance to finish it. The material is English Walnut. The tree came down in SE Portland while I was still partnered with David Mealey @ Milwaukie Hardwoods LLC. It was the largest English we ever had the chance to process. It was too large and heavy for the 76" chain mill so we sent the main trunk out to be cut. I milled the larger limbs and knew I wanted to see the end product.
