Hi Folks,

I recently made a dovetail saw for a younger member of the Sisters Habitat construction crew. Before I turned it over to him i taught him how to saw straight.

That got me thinking. I used to offer workshops for topics such as:

1. Sharpening (includes prepping a chisel or plane blade)
2. Saw sharpening
3. Hand cut dovetail joints
4. Hand cut mortise and tenon joints
5. Preparing and using a card scraper
6. Tuning a hand plane

There were probably others that escape my mind at present. I won't be holding workshops, but I am willing to teach people one-on-one for these and any other hand tool techniques.

If this interests you contact me.

Dennis

I should have added

7. Learning to saw straight (which is 90% of being able to cut just about any joint).

My methods aren't any different that what you can find on the internet. But I can point out issues in your techniques and help you to improve more rapidly.
