Touchmark Plane Fuselages

Hi Folks,

Once I get the blanks back then the fun begins - making the fuselages. I've attached a picture of what the band sawn blanks should look like. 

It has been suggested that splitting the blanks down the middle would make it easier to shape the wood on a router table, then gluing the halves back together. If you would like to try this please contact me.

The fuselage will have to be simplified - circular cross section up to the pilot, elliptical after that, making as fair a curve as possible, leaving a flat to attach the wings.
