All,
I've decided its time to upgrade. I'm selling my current printer and thought I'd post it here in case anyone is interested.
The printer is a 300VS-Plus from Ultibots. About the bot:
1. All frame is metal, either aluminum extrusion (openbuilds vslot) or likely cnc metal (tower frame). This thing is very rigid!
2. All of the structural parts are sls nylon
3. Most of the non-structural parts iirc are ABS. I printed a few in iirc pc-cf
The build area is approx 285x420 - this thing would excel at tall objects if that is your thing! Print speeds kinda depends on your material. I've pushed it up around 100 mm/sec but first layer or two you want much slower.
I have hardened gears in the extruder. I also have a hardened .4 nozzle (e3d nozzleX iirc). I also will be including all of my e3d nozzles (.25 through .8, copper, brass, hardened) as well as my volcano blocks and nozzles (.4 through 1.2, including some hardened variants). I'll also see if I can find some other e3d goodies. I also have replacement rod ends which are unobtainium (like seriously good luck finding it, the guy went out of business and just vanished) The build plate is from buildtak and is a mag base with a bunch of different sheets/plates - pei, garolite and I think a couple blanks.
This printer is in full working order. I have slightly modified it. I put a keenovo ac heated bed - iirc its like 600-700 watts ;) I'll also see if I can dig up the original 24v heat spreader - pretty sure I know where it is.
I'll also be including whatever print surfaces I have. This would be things like pei, blue painters tape, garolite (nylon) and anything else I find.
I'm happy to bring it to the next meetup. I'm also willing to have you come out to see it in person. I'll answer whatever questions you may have. Its a *fantastic* printer. I have a few upgrade ideas I'm happy to discuss.
I have a bunch of data files I'm going to upload to the sd card of the printer. The git repo (linked below), a fusion360 re-implementation of the printer and possibly some other stuff. I'll also leave some gcode files on there and walk you through macro/print start/end routine. Its got LEDs which are nice but you need to know which heater ;)
I think a sane price for this is $500 - considering all of the extra stuff you will be getting. The e3d stuff alone probably is that much so ;)
Feel free to reach out to me via email or in the thread.
Bill
