Greetings, Local Makers!
My broken-down van has gone to live on a Farm upstate... so I am still not able to get to down to the Idea Foundry for the meetup this month. I will still be hosting the gather.town
meeting on-ljne at the usual time.
As for the Idea Foundry itself, we should be getting an official announcement this month about what's changing with the building and events. I believe one of the new uses will be small performance events held by CAPA in the grandstand area. When we get word about things, I'll mention anything impactful here, but a lot of things are expected to stay the same.
The work on State St continues. There is now a brick sidewalk in front of the building, and the entire affair is double-width, so there is no head-in parking at the building anymore. It was metered
parking until 10P anyway, so it's no major impact unless you are loading/unloading at the front door. Most people park in the Gravity Garage a block north.
For the virtual part of the meetup, we'll once again be in gather.town. Same link and credentials as before:
