Blankets / Fiber crafts

Hi all,

One of the Marines stationed in Afghanistan states that Blankets would be nice as sleeping bags get old.  Does anyone have ideas on where to get inexpensive blankets?

Also, I am a crocheter and am thinking about making some hats/scarves and muffs.  Does anyone else crochet/knit?

Hi Courtney,

I went to a volunteer event the other day and we made no sew fleece
blankets...it was really really easy and I can see it being rather
inexpensive. Personally, I love fleece blankets they are so soft and
washable.
