As August had a fifth Saturday in it this year, Washington State
conducted an EOC-to-EOC drill. This is an opportunity for any and or
all stations to man-up and test their equipment.
As testing of the installed equipment in Kitsap is on-going, it was
decided to run this drill as if all installed equipment was
inoperative.
In Central Kistap, we took it one step further and tested signal
strength on SImplex and HF to identify any areas we may be asked to
respond to, that will need more than an HT and a rubber-duckie.
I posted the results in the files section in two files.
EOC-2-EOC 8-30-08.pdf is an adobe version most anyone can view
EOC-2EOC 8-30-08.xlsx is a Microsoft Excel 2007 file.
I will be updating the individual Station pages soon with response
requirements.
