Know of local Java courses/study groups/tutors?

Hi.

I'm looking to improve my Java (and programming in general) skills. I know DMACC offers some courses but I am hoping to start sooner rather than later. I am considering working on Coursera courses and using other online learning tools. But nothing is as good as in person interaction.  Does anyone know of and courses in town (more than 5 days) or skilled programmers who currently are or are willing to tutor/mentor, or of a Java study group in town? If there is not one, would people be interested?

Hey!  This isn't in town, but it does offer longer courses so I'll mention it.  Delta V Code School launched in Cedar Rapids and is offering software design and development courses this summer.

There's also a code school in Omaha.  I don't know anyone personally who has attended either, so I can't vouch for either offering.
