Yeah, that was my fault. I needed to moderate Mike's message because
he doesn't have a google group profile.

I should have checked my e-mail yesterday morning but I was running
out the door to go to a wedding!

By the way, how was the meeting for everybody??? ...besides patrick of
course :)

It was just the two of us, but we had fun. We split a couple of games.

Laptop prolly won't be nessisary, since i'll be bringing three 19x19's with me.

Come to think of it, though, if I brought my laptop we could play
games from across the room for extra geekiness.

Oh, before I forget, there was a weird little idea I was testing out
with some just-read-the-rules beginners that some of you might enjoy.

Three-person Rengo.

Yes, Three-person Rengo!

The logical concequence of this is that each turn, each player will
alternate which color they play.

Makes for some pretty F-ed up games.

Just a thought, try it out sometime.

Sounds fun! Except it would be hard not to make a mistake on purpose
just so you could exploit it the next move. :)

right..but what would the advantage in that be? Since no one is a
particular color, it wouldn't make sense to sabotage one side or the
other, since you'll just be cleaning up that mess on the next turn
anyway.

Yeah... you're right. You wouldn't be rooting for one color or the
other, you would just be making "the best move" every time. If
anything, it would eliminate moves that are "tricky" or hoping for
your opponent to miss something.
