Dear brothers and sisters,
Greetings of the Peace of Christ!
We will have our MM Mission Core Lenten Recollection on March 3, 2013.
Fr. Rolly Garcia of the Archdiocese of Manila is our Recollection Master. Below will be our schedule:
8:00 am Gathering Songs
8:15 Opening Prayer/Introduction of Recollection Master
8:20 TALK ON OBEDIENCE
“He firmly resolved to proceed towards Jerusalem” (Luke 9:51)
9:20 Sharing by small groups
9:40 TALK ON WITNESSING
“Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God” (1 John 4:15)
10:40 Sharing by small groups/Preparation for Mass
11:00 Eucharistic Celebration (Third Sunday of Lent – C)
Please be reminded to come before 8:00 am so we can start on time. Per the schedule above, we will not have time for break. Everyone is encouraged to fast during the recollection. However, if you need to take some food in between sessions, please just bring simple snacks to be taken during the small group sharing.
We also discourage selling of food and other items as this may disturb the Recollection. ABLAZE will be advised to sell their products only before the opening prayer and after the Mass.
We pray for a meaningful observance of Lent which starts Feb. 13, 2013 (Ash Wednesday).
