Mother Board Compatibility

Hi,

I'm searching for hardware to build a centos 5 medium appliance
server, based on an intel dual core or similar.

As a requisite, I need hardware RAID with SATA disks to work in this
server.

Have you any suggestions?

I don't think there is a motherboard with a good hardware RAID integrated. Better purchase it separately. Most motherboard integrated RAIDs I saw were software (although, it is written nowhere in documentation).

If I were you, I would take any ASUS board.
