CVS Public Hearing Delayed Again

Hello everyone,

Last night at the Carrboro Board of Aldermen meeting, a representative from the CVS asked to indefinitely delay the public hearing on the rezoning of the property of the proposed CVS site.  We are not sure when the hearing will be rescheduled.  It appears that the CVS & the developers are trying to modify the plan because it may not be approved by the required super-majority vote of the Aldermen due to the protest petition by the adjacent property owners.

We will let you know when the hearing is rescheduled.  Thanks to all who have sent emails to the Mayor and Aldermen to let them know your opinion..

The developer presented 3 new options to the Planning Board and the transportation board during the March 15 meeting. Here are links to each option:

All of these options still raise concerns about traffic, noise pollution, air pollution and light pollution for the neighbors and all citizens visiting downtown Carrboro.
