to Center for Pragmatic Buddhism
Hi Friends and Members of CPB!
This week we will resume are regular practice at First Unitarian,
beginning with meditation practice from 7-8 pm, and a Dharma talk and
group discussion from 8-9 pm.
This week's Dharma talk will cover Zen Master Dogen's "Shobogenzo,"
his most important work and among the top 10 pieces of world
literature. If you are interested in Zen, you do not want to miss
this discussion.
Join us this week and bring a friend with you. The OPB formal members
are now back from our first annual Conference for Monastic Leaders
(CML) at Furman University in Greenville, SC. We now have three new
Novice monks who were ordained there: William Perkins (Li Rui), Wayne
Hughes (Ren Cheng) and John Winter (Li Que). I congratulate them for
their hard work getting to this point in their practice of Pragmatic
Buddhism!
I hope to see you this Thursday,
Jim Eubanks
